Future of the Casino
What the future of social networking might look like is anyone’s guess. However, I am excited to be in a time where it looks like the possibilities are endless. I was in college back when there was a legitimate rivalry between MySpace and Facebook. I did not understand the craze before I had joined. I was simply told it was really great way to stay in touch with people. I scoffed and said that is why we have e-mail. However, upon joining I quickly started to realize how this new thing called social networking would change the way people interact for ever. Ever since the dawn of social networking I have watched how it changes everything from business to peoples personal lives and new discoveries for its use seem to be cropping up every year.
Not everything is done through Facebook, but Facebook has been a model for most. Living in New York City I have seen social networking change the way people date. Online dating was once curious thing that most people felt uncomfortable doing, but now it has opened up the process to young people to the point where it feels as though people are able to select dates as if they were choosing dishes from menu. Gaming products through social networks has proven to be the very future of the casino itself. We are just around the corner from people placing real money wagers on casino games through social networking on their mobile phones. There seems to be no end to the value of social networking.
